Christian Hilpert
Christian Hilpert is a versatile researcher whose academic background spans philosophy with social and cultural anthropology at Freie Universität Berlin, and economics with social sciences at the University of Cologne. He obtained his master’s degree in social sciences from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, with a focus on economic sociology. Currently, Christian contributes to Cluster C, where he investigates the resilience of global value and supply chains within the frameworks of security, accountability, and the rule of law. His research emphasizes the discursive construction of geopolitical security and threats within politics, business, science, and media. In parallel, Christian is developing his dissertation, which explores supply chains from a cultural and semantic perspective, employing both discourse analysis and quantitative text analysis.
