Susmita Hazarika
Susmita works as a Research Associate with Praveen Jha, Professor (Retd.) of Economics, Centre for Economic Studies and Planning (CESP), School of Social Sciences (SSS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning (CESP), SSS, JNU. Prior to transitioning to research, she worked in the corporate sector in India for around seven years. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Apparel Production from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi. Additionally, she has also earned a Post Graduation in Management (MBA) from Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, India and Post Graduation in Data Analysis in Economics from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune, India. Susmita conducts research in Cluster B, which investigates the relationship of value chain reconfiguration with interdependent growth regimes and effects on economic and social resilience. In this context, she is currently analysing the Indian automotive industry.
