Prof. Dr. Vincenz Leuschner

Projects:

Prof. Dr. Vincenz Leuschner co-leads Cluster C together with Hartmut Aden, Daniela Hunold, Matthias Kötter and Markus Schultze-Kraft. This cluster explores the resilience of legal and illegal global value and supply chains in the context of security, contestation, accountability, and the rule of law. Within Cluster C, he serves as work package leaders for WP1: Antagonistic Threats to Global Supply and Value Chains. Vincenz has been Professor of Criminology and Sociology at the HWR Berlin since 2017. Previously, he worked as a professor at the Berlin University of Applied Education and as a research assistant at the Free University of Berlin. His research focuses on violence research (rampage shootings, terrorism), research into social problems, sociology of security, developmental criminology, crime prevention and the sociology of social relationships.
